ASSIGNMENT
‘‘Typography is explored in your environment; images and narrative are conceptually and visually designed as a whole’’
I had to create a book about my surroundings. My neighborhood, area, street, or other space that is somehow connected to me. To find some meaning and create a narrative.
I decided to work on El Cajon boulevard, and talk about the connections between the people on in, the buildings on in, and myself.
I interviewed 6 people on the Boulevard, and linked their stories to my personal quest and question about what and where meaning is. Messy Drawer Boulevard is the product of this labor.
